Schiele worked with Gustav Klimt in Austria in the early 20th century. Schiele adopted Klimts style and took it further technically.

I personally enjoy his very controlled yet seemingly sloppy watercolors. Illustrators today struggle to compete with Schiele's ability. At best we only copy him well.</description>
